Fijoa and Pear Galette

This is a fantastic and quick winter dessert.

Ingredients

2 firm pears thinly sliced
4 fijoas thinly sliced
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cointreau (optional)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 sheet puff pastry

Combine the first 6 ingredients and allow to sit for an hour.

Spread the fruit mix over the sheet of puff pastry, leaving a border of 5 cm which
you pull back up to form a crust.

Bake in a 200 deg c oven for 40 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
